Engineers, QA managers and procurement staff entering the nuclear pressure equipment supply chain.
Learning objectives — by the end of this course you will be able to:
- Describe the structure of Section III of the Code and identify the applicable supporting Sections
- Classify the components and supports — consequently identifying the applicable subsections for their construction
- Identify the actors involved in the construction and certification of components and their responsibilities (Owner, Certificate Holder, Material Organisation, Authorised Nuclear Inspector etc.)
- Describe the certification or qualification process of a Material Organisation
- Describe the requirements and contents of a Quality Assurance Programme

Requirements to access the course
No specific entry requirements. Basic familiarity with ASME BPVC is recommended.
Delivery method
In-person course — at a date and location agreed with you, or at a venue indicated by us in accordance with the C&P calendar. Course materials include the delegate handout (PDF). Selected introductory presentations can also be delivered by distance learning.
Certificate
All attendees receive a course attendance certificate. Auditor-grade courses include a final examination — successful candidates receive a qualified-pass certificate aligned with the audit qualification requirements of ISO 19011.
