Notified Body for PED ASME AIA ISO 19443 Accredited

Through our parent organization, C&P Srl, we operate as an ASME Authorized Inspection Agency, providing teams of qualified Authorized Inspectors who verify that pressure equipment meets the technical and safety requirements established by the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.

The world's most recognised pressure equipment code

The ASME Code represents the most established and globally recognised construction standard for boilers and pressure vessels. It is mandated across the United States and Canadian provinces, and accepted by more than one hundred nations for third-party inspection. Holding an ASME Certificate of Authorization is, for many manufacturers, the passport to global pressure-equipment markets.

How we support manufacturers

We assist manufacturers in obtaining and maintaining ASME Certificates of Authorization and the U, U2, S, R and PP certification marks. Support spans the entire journey — application preparation, Quality Control Manual development, NDE procedure verification, demonstration sample supervision, and welding procedure and welder qualification reviews. Our inspectors bring extensive sectoral experience and competencies that ensure high standards of compliance.

Beyond code compliance

We deliver inspection services that go beyond basic code compliance — offering practical guidance on Code application and interpretation throughout your certification journey, and acting as a technical sounding board on tricky design or fabrication decisions.

Typical timeline

To pursue certification, the manufacturer defines the activity scope, contracts with us as the Authorized Inspection Agency, and prepares both a Quality Control Manual and a demonstration item. The typical timeline spans approximately six months from application submission to certificate issuance.
