MOM Singapore Inspections
ISO 17020 accredited inspections for Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health Act.
With our ISO 17020 accreditation specific to pressure equipment, boilers and piping, we satisfy the requirements of Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSH) and are able to provide the certification required for the export of these products destined for Singapore.
Documentation we cover
Equipment destined for Singapore installation must include construction drawings with welding details, design calculations approved by Inspection Bodies per ASME or BSI codes, boiler room layouts per SS 567:2011, steam piping diagrams per ASME standards, and environmental approvals where applicable. For foreign-manufactured tanks, a manufacturing inspection report from an accredited Inspection Body certifying compliance with accepted codes is mandatory.
Accreditation matters
Clients should always request copies of the Inspection Body's accreditation certificate to confirm scope coverage (design verification, fabrication, inspection) and validity at the time of manufacture. Alternative pressure vessel codes require Authorised Examiner approval.
How to apply
Obtaining a Fabrication Survey Report requires submitting form AM042N with detailed specifications — construction drawings, stability calculations, welding procedures, and welder qualifications. Drawings must identify basic design conditions, material specifications, welding details, non-destructive testing requirements, post-weld heat treatment, test pressure and corrosion tolerance.
