We provide pressure equipment inspection services for New Zealand export. The company holds recognition as a "Recognised Inspection Body" under Regulation 25(2) of the Health and Safety in Employment (Pressure Equipment, Cranes, and Passenger Ropeways) Regulations 1999, granted by WorkSafe New Zealand.
Key requirements
Manufacturers exporting to New Zealand must ensure design and verification comply with standards equivalent to those in Regulation 18. This regulation requires designers to: create equipment safe for intended purposes; determine and document risk levels; specify expected equipment lifespan; establish design verification and manufacturing inspection requirements; and account for New Zealand's seismic environment in design and verification requirements.
How to apply
To obtain the Pressure Equipment Inspection Certificate, applicants submit a quotation request form AM042N along with construction drawings, stability calculations, welding procedures and welder qualifications.
