Australia Inspections
ISO 17020 accredited inspection body authorized for the Australian market.
We are an ISO 17020:2012 accredited inspection body authorized to conduct inspections for the Australian market, including the Australian manufacturing code AS 1210.
Scope of work
Pressure equipment intended for the Australian market — boilers (steam generators), tanks and piping — must meet the requirements specified in AS 3920:2015. Each new, modified or repaired item undergoes conformity assessment covering pressure-retaining parts, design, materials, fabrication, repair, modifications, testing and documentation compliance.
Assessment methodology
Our conformity process combines quality systems, design verification, type testing and manufacturing inspection. The rigour of inspection is determined by hazard levels established through AS 4343 — ensuring proportionate effort applied to higher-risk items.
How to apply
Submit a quotation request form AM042N along with construction drawings, design calculations and welding documentation. The drawings must specify design conditions, hazard levels, construction standards, operating parameters, material specifications and essential testing requirements including non-destructive testing and post-weld heat treatment protocols.
